Our pending PCS is getting closer and closer. Instead of waiting until the last minute to get my replacement in place for the FRG leader position, we are slowly fazing it over right now. The two ladies that are taking over for me, are so sweet, and I have no doubt that they will be able to do just fine. Yet at the same time, I don’t want to give it over to them. Over the last two years I have worked so hard to get the group where it is, and I’m afraid they will ruin everything I’ve worked so hard to accomplish. Oh well, its not like I can continue to be the leader from Georgia.
Rob leaves for South Carolina next week, and I have to admit part of me is excited. I mean yeah the 9 weeks he is away is going to stink, but the sooner he leaves the sooner we can get our move under way. Plus I think once you go through a 15 month deployment, 1 to 6 months is nothing when it comes to being apart.
The boys and I will be busy the entire time he is gone. Between me being in school and the boys being in school, and cleaning out old things we don’t want to take with us, we’ll be fairly busy. The boys are really getting excited about our move, they get to be back near family. Most of my family is in Georgia, and Rob’s family is in Virginia, so we’ll be able to see everyone fairly often.
On a side note, Jo is going to 8 on March 1st….Holy smokes where as time gone???????
